Pearls of Wisdom

When you are in school, you reminisce about just school, and that is it to it — memories pure and straightforward with thoughts clean as water. How cherished and indeed collaborative those moments were that even if it was decades ago, I still relish there seldom. I am closing my eyes envisioning me diving into those milliseconds inhaling the same air once again. Pearls of wisdom are words, books, chapters or teachers who deserve admiration and appreciation. I love my teacher or I must say I love you, teacher.

Ths sun was beaming bright, and it was a glorious day but not so hot. An artistic morning but routine was entirely unusual. All we were informed about the summer camp, was in pretty smaller details: just the location and no dress code. There were no uniforms that day. I had never gone to school without a uniform. Surprisingly, it was my first day, and I never anticipated how it would go.

Distant sounds of traffic at the back I was entering the gate. And as soon as I did, I was overwhelmed by the atmosphere around that place — everyone wearing colorful clothes and no uniform. The only faces that I remember to this day were of Ms.Ejaz, Ms.Maliha, Gullrukh Suleiman, Shahrukh Suleman indeed, Ghazal and Yasser Ehsan. I was feeling a bit nervous, being casual, which was on, on that particular day.

The assembly formation was in process shortly enough. So to me, it was a typical school day out of school dress code. The prevalent sequence of choir girls with me was the first task of the day. I had to recite ” Lab pe atee hay dua ban ke tamanna meri” and then indeed the national anthem. Ms.Maliha as always was quite busy. Imaginable guess was she had been promoted as the principle of the school ( which by some extent lived quite a dream of my own).

This building hired for summer camp from school was right on the upper side of the town. It looked different but yet excitingly exotic. Wandering throughout practically all corners of that site, I still was curious concerning everything about it. And all of a sudden Ms.Maliha caught me up roaming in the corridor. She never shouted, in a humble but dominant voice, she said: ” Keep your eyes in your head and approach your class.” So the quest for intrusiveness was over, and I headed towards the class.

Oh not again, the girls already had invaded chairs in the front row like it was a law. I glared at Yasser as he was so adaptive all the time evolving into a situation. As he endured the defeat and as we ( boys) have surrendered the mandate to the opposition without putting up a fight. Ghazal was giggling out loud as there was a comedian in the room. Gullrukh as typical, making paused faces trying to act like she was the Mayer of the town. Surprisingly there was a new teacher in the class, and she began introducing herself. And so did we all told who we were.

Ms.Maliha

School bell rang and confirmed the first period was over. My eyes were anxiously seeking Ms.Maliha’s presence. Sitting in the class of a new teacher is perpetually obstinate. I mean you have to be gravely serious for quite a lot of time. Ms.Maliha wearing all her sparkling personage, had just joined the class. Ms.Maliha is the most immeasurable thing that I recollect has ever happened to me in this life. I missed mom at home, but while I was at school, her demeanor, compassion, and altruism had fulfilled all the gaps. I had nevermore observed a decent, creative, judiciously smart, and knowledgeable woman in my life even to this day.

Ms.Ejaz, on the other hand, was an intellectual, profound, vigorous, and inspiring soul. She was my English teacher. The things she taught me as basics I never have ever forgotten those lessons. And this is plausibly the reason whenever someone relishes my English I designate the citation towards Ms.Ejaz. Even to this day, I discuss her when someone remarks about it. She was genuinely brilliant and extraordinarily talented. Pearls of wisdom are words, books, chapters or teachers who deserve admiration and appreciation. That day of summer camp was exceptional. Perhaps a chapter that is imprinted on my consciousness forever. I tried but had not been able to forget it. Yasser was closest to me in friends, and he planned to shift to another school. I had decided to move with him nevertheless. Someone told Ms. Ejaz and I cannot forget as far as I live, she whupped me in front of the whole school. After my father, it was her who beat me in public. But I don’t take it negatively; She considerably wanted me to be the best. I was on peak those days, leading and gleaming, and all my teachers worked hard to mold me into a better person. She was not happy that I would leave the school. When I think about it today, I suppose she did the right thing to prevent me from a fall.

It was strange though watching your classmates in casual dress code. Surprising for me perhaps as I had never seen them out of the uniform. Gullrukh kept playing perilously as she always did. Shahrukh had always gossiped about what he likes to do after school. Shoaib Khokhar, Irfan Hameed, Sadia, Waqas, Afzal, Raza and I am misremembering many names who were there that day. They are all part of my permanent memory, and there is no way I can forget about that period. Pearls of wisdom are words, books, chapters or teachers who deserve admiration and appreciation. I love my teacher or I must say I love you, teacher.
