Sirenic

Sirenic
Written by Rana M

Melodies whisper slowly where the trail of light ends
No matter how loud my fingers are today on the guitar

Prebuttle pursuit in the name of love carries on and on
Presumptions are meaningless if  you could see that far

My heart at war with my soul yet again to prove a point
Fighting over love again how rude but innocent they are

Echoes of her voice rumble with the music of my heart
The pain my soul carries must be a temerity to my scars

My dreams on a chariot fading away in an alley so dark
Yet my emotions are still young, as energetic as a rock star
